We here at Pinnacle’s Cincinnati headquarters are always on the lookout for ways in which air conditioning works its way into new situations. After all, these summer days are really calling for coolness, and quality AC can manifest itself in a number of ways.
We have yet to try out this rolling cooler, but it did pique our curiosity.
The 18V Cooling Cooler is a wide-wheeled, 50-quart cooler that has a battery-powered air-chilling unit built into it. The cooler has its own 18-Volt battery and charger, and works with any 18-Volt ONE+ batteries from other devices. If you prefer lithium batteries, an upgrade is available.
Sitting in front of chilled air at a campsite sounds pretty inviting. I can picture putting my face in front of some cooled breeze at a soccer game while having a water break, too.
The Cooling Cooler retails for about $200, and the compartment is deep enough to let you place two-liter bottles in, standing upright. Ryobi is the manufacturer, and it is definitely a clever concept.
It’s unfair to compare the small amount of cooling such a portable could provide with, say, the luxuriously frosty feel of your home when your central Air Conditioning is running in tip-top shape. And that’s what we’re here for. If you’re in the Cincinnati area, give us a shout and we can help get your air conditioner working at top efficiency. There’s no need to make the rest of your summer anything less than perfectly comfortable.
