Working heating and air conditioning components regularly, we do our best to be aware of all local news pertaining to heating and air conditioning, whether these stories occur at residences or commercial spaces. Therefore, this story crossed our radar: Franklin is a small town in Warren County, Ohio, just off of I-75 north of Cincinnati. Among the businesses in the 12,000-person town is a strip club called the New York, New York Cabaret.
This month, that nightclub was evacuated after a rooftop HVAC unit malfunctioned. The building filled with smoke, and firefighters arrived to evacuate the workers and patrons.
According to the Journal-News report, the club reopened that night.
Nobody at the nightclub was injured, according to Franklin Fire Chief Jonathan Westendorf.
